Halloween in July???

Posted by Elly on

Are you a Halloween fanatic who just can't wait for October to roll around? Do you find yourself craving all things spooky even in the middle of summer? Well, fear not (pun intended), because there are plenty of ways to get your fright on even when the sun is shining and the temperatures are soaring.

1. Host a Horror Movie Marathon

Gather your friends, grab some popcorn, and settle in for a day of horror movie madness. Whether you prefer classic slasher films or supernatural thrillers, there's nothing like a good scare to get you in the Halloween spirit, no matter the season.

Here are some of our recent favorites!

Abigal (2024)

Pearl (2023)

Late Night with the Devil (2023)

Barbarian (2022)

Talk to Me (2022)

2. Throw a Creepy Cookout

Who says you can't grill up some ghoulish goodies in the summer? Whip up some spooky snacks like "mummy dogs" (hot dogs wrapped in crescent roll dough) or "eyeball punch" (a fruity concoction with lychee "eyeballs" floating in it).

3. Decorate Your Space

Transform your home into a haunted house with some creepy decorations. Hang up fake cobwebs, put out some eerie candles, and don't forget the jack-o-lanterns.  Looking for inspiration?  Muahaha has you covered with bone-chilling home decor suitable for any season.  Might we suggest lighting up a pumpkin spice candle?  Ahhhhh.

4. Plan a Halloween in July Party

Why wait until October to throw a Halloween bash? Host a "Halloween in July" party complete with costumes, spooky music, and plenty of candy. Your friends will thank you for the excuse to dress up in the middle of summer.

5. Visit a Haunted Location

Do some research and find a haunted location near you to visit. Whether it's a supposedly haunted house, a spooky cemetery, or a ghost tour in your city, exploring the paranormal can be a thrilling way to embrace the Halloween spirit year-round.

So, don't let the summer heat dampen your Halloween spirit. Embrace your inner ghoul and get your scare on, no matter the season!
